Applying for a passport can be a tiresome task. I am from the Caribbean, and in my country hundreds of people apply for a passport on every work day. The day I applied for my passport, I woke up very early in the morning. By about 6:00am I was already out the door. I took a taxi and was on my way. When I finally arrived at my destination I was most shocked. Why you might ask? Well I was shocked to see that I was not the only one who decided to get up early. There were a lot of other people already there. The process goes like this; you basically enter the premises and take a number. If you don’t already have an passport application form filled out, you ask for one and accurately fill it out. Make sure you walk with the correct requirements needed, that is your Identification Card, birth certificate etc. Now you wait your turn and your name or the number that you received, would be called. Now apart from the many people the process is very organized. The staff are very friendly and eager to lend a hand. In conclusion I must say that apart from the numerous people, applying for a passport was a good learning experience.
