Opening our own business is something that my husband and I have toyed with for years. Yet, we just never seemed to be ready to make that leap from a guaranteed income to self-employment. Now we have to take the jump. Last February my husband lost his job and he hasn’t found anything to replace it yet. Yesterday, I was informed that my company is closing at the end of the month. We can’t live off unemployment and still make all of our bills so we need to find another source of income. Opening our own business will help as our unemployment will continue for a while. As I explained to my husband, the first step is to find an affordable website development firm. The Internet is the place to make money so we need to start there. Thankfully he agrees.
