There are any number of reviews of the amazon kindle e-book reader around. Most of them focus on the technical details of the reader and how it stacks up against its competitors – which is quite understandable, it’s a high tech gadget after all. However, from an end user’s point of view, I think it’s well worth noting that it is a great reading experience. It produces less eye strain than reading on a PC monitor, it’s easy to use one handed and buying and downloading books is simplicity itself. For myself, I now prefer reading on my Kindle than using a traditional book.
