Immigration has a large impact to a country’s economy. It affects aspects such as educational, medical, employment and government budgets. The best example with be a study made by the National Academy of Sciences which states that taxes that immigrants pay don’t even cover the expenses of the government’s immigration services.

This is why The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) believes that a better but non-discriminatory immigration policy should be developed. They believe in developing the current immigration policy to better serve the social, economic and environmental needs of the country and at the same time be also consistent with the current democratic ideals and laws.
