Last week, we were driving home from the mall when someone rear-ended our car. Thankfully nobody was hurt yet rescue personnel are called any for any accident in our area. When the workers arrived, they were very helpful and one fireman even took the time to answer my four year old son’s questions very patiently. A police citizen assistant let my son sit in his car and gave my son one of the child sized fire and rescue safety vests to take home. My son wears that vest all day every day and even slept in it one night. I’m glad he came away from the experience with a good memory rather than a bad one.
