I had a running argument with my roommate.  She comes from a quiet, traditional background where the Holidays are very low key.  I believe that there is no such thing as too much food, fun, or friends.  We especially disagree over New Years Eve. Last year I invited my roomie to help be plan our end-of-year celebration and I told her we would need, first of all, champagne and lots of confetti.  She began to get into the spirit of the thing and was absolutely dazzled by the joyous celebration of friends, the hugs and kisses at midnight, and air filled with thousands of pieces of color as confetti floated down on all of us.  Last night she was making a list for this year’s party.
