It’s amazing how much power some people have over others just because of their appointed position. They are not always right and can very well be wrong, but most people listen to them anyways because of their position.

It’s scary to think about how much wrong information someone in a power of position can teach and not be challenged for the validity of it. For example, I could say that filtered water dispenser units churn out water that will make the drinker younger and feel more youthful, and if I were a priest or a minister, I might be able to get away with it. This is granted I teach it to Sunday school kids of course.
