Consumers were nobody for providers prior to VoIP except that they were paying high charges for the telephone services they were utilizing. But VoIP has brought with a stiff competition and hence the providers are forced to take consumers seriously. They are compelled to offer top voip service at highly affordable rates, though it is a high quality service. They are also forced to spend substantial amounts on research and development so that they can come out with many new features that can be extended to consumers for retaining the loyalty of the existing consumers and for enrolling new consumers and increasing their market share.
