With all sorts of rotorua accommodation in high demand during the holiday season I was prepared to take just about anything I could find, barring a camp ground as my other half is not so keen on sleeping in a tent and having shared bathrooms. After quite some time of ringing around different places I finally found somewhere that still had a vacancy so I booked it on the spot. I really should have been more organized and booked well in advance but it was a bit of a last minute decision to go there for the holidays so I didn’t have much time to get it sorted.

A week ago today my boyfriend asked me to marry him. I of course said yes. It’s the second marriage for both of us and we’ve decided that we want to keep it small. We’ve started to search for the best destination weddings. We’re thinking of going somewhere, just the two of us. I want to go somewhere that neither of us have ever been before, somewhere that’s romantic. He agrees with me. There are just so many different places that we could go, it’s going to be hard to decide. Part of me would like to get married on a cruise, part of me on the beach, or maybe somewhere in the mountains. I can’t decide.

I could hardly believe the amount of new rotorua motels that have sprung up over the years since I was last there. It has been about ten years since I last visited the place but the growth of the area has just been huge. I know it has always been a big tourist destination and it appears that it has just grown in popularity, hence the increase in everything from accommodation houses to restaurants and cafes. I guess that has been pushed along with the upgrade of the airport. Funnily enough though, I didn’t notice too many new activities, not like in the neighboring town of Taupo.

On Friday night I took the time to call my uncle Peter after not speaking with him in close to six months. It was New Year’s Eve and I figured I might as well give him a call and talk about old times. At one time we were very close. I was kind of surprised when he told me that he had been on the Internet recently looking at Australian Capital Territory properties. He was getting a little sick of living in Detroit Michigan and wanted to move to a place that was more warm. I had no idea he had any plans of moving out of the country; however it made a lot of sense after he explained it to me.

I have always loved to travel, and ever since I got my new car, I had been wanting to take it on a road trip. I had some time off from work, so I decided to take my wife on a trip. We had both been wanting to go on one of the Route 66 tours, and we found a great package online that made it very affordable and offered some helpful tips. We got all packed and on our way, and it was a lot of fun to see all the points of interest. Spending a day in Chicago was my favorite, but all of it was fantastic!

I’ve been looking at holiday ideas for the Easter half term and it seemed like things were getting terribly expensive. Between my husband’s need for a golf course nearby, my younger son’s desire to partake in endless water sports and my teenage daughter and me wanting to spend a few days at the spa it seemed like our holiday budget was over before I’d even booked the flights! But then I found some amazing deals on cheap all inclusive holidays to Turkey. The all inclusive doesn’t cover all our activities, but it will mean only one price tag for our flights, accommodation and basic subsistence. Then everyone can budget their interests on their own.

There is a Dak Bungalow. Many thrilling hek that unveil the nature’s eternal glory begin from Sonamarg by the Buses from Rajkot. Here at the foot of the glacier is the sparking Mshansar Lake. Its blue water reflects the glacier. Across the stream that issues out of Vishansar, is Kishansar at 3,818 metres. The lakes abound in trout and offer fine camping sites on the shores. The trek to Gadsar, 23 kilometres from here, involves a steep climb to a Pass (4,995 metres) on the right of Kishansar, Mount Vishnu on the left side. From here there is a descent along the river over now to Yesmar, a small well-shaped lake of deep blue hue with floating icebergs on the left.
