I am almost finished with my online training program to be a court reporter. When I was a child, our family pet was a huge old shaggy dog named Jack. It seemed that Jack had been with us forever and would continue to do so, but one warm spring afternoon he did not come to greet our school bus. We found him out under his favorite willow tree. I think he went there to take a nap in the sun and just dreamed himself away to another place. My dad gave a very special eulogy for our old friend as we tenderly buried him in the orchard.
